Super-gent David Walford's Chunky Fringe is a celebration of teletext, retro tech and related tomfoolery, with a distinctly DIY/homebrew feel. In previous years it took place alongside Digitiser Live, but with there being no Digi event on the 2025 "slate", Chunky Fringe broke loose and went out on its own. It just will not stop, ever.
The not-stopping took place once again at Harrow Arts Centre in leafy north London, on Saturday 4 October 2025.
The 2025 edition's panels included a live recording of Paul (Mr Biffo) and Sanja Rose's Bubblegun podcast, followed by a whistlestop tour of the best of teletext-era Digitiser, with Biffo and Chris Bell (aka Bellston, the man writing the words that you are now reading).
